Calendar Integration: Overview and How It Works

Connect your organization’s supported calendar provider to EOS One to send calendar invitations for Meetings and give Atlas AI additional calendar context.

What Is Calendar Integration?

Calendar integration connects EOS One with your organization’s calendar provider.

EOS One currently supports:

Calendar integration is configured at the organization level. An administrator with the required permissions for your calendar provider must complete the initial setup.

Once the integration is connected, supported calendar features become available in EOS One.

What Can You Do With Calendar Integration?

Once your organization’s calendar integration is connected, EOS One can use it to support several workflows.

Send Calendar Invitations for Meetings

When creating a Meeting in EOS One, you can choose whether to send calendar invitations to the attendees.

You can:

  • Send calendar invites to Meeting attendees

  • Create the Meeting in EOS One without sending calendar invites

  • Remember your choice for future Meetings

Attendees receive the calendar event through the calendar provider your organization has connected.

For more information about creating Meetings, see Create a Meeting in EOS One.

Use Calendar Information with Atlas AI

When a supported calendar is connected, Atlas AI can use calendar information as additional context for supported workflows.

For example, calendar context can help Atlas understand your existing schedule when you ask it to help plan your day or week.

For more information, see Atlas AI: Overview and How to Use It.

Use Calendar Availability in the Daily and Weekly Planner

The Daily and Weekly Planner can use information from your connected calendar alongside your EOS One priorities

This helps Atlas consider your existing schedule and availability when helping you build a plan

Atlas can combine calendar context with information such as:

  • Rocks

  • Off-track Measurables

  • Overdue or upcoming to-dos

  • Upcoming EOS One Meetings

When calendar context is available, Atlas can also suggest time blocks based on your availability.

Connect Your Calendar Provider

The initial setup steps depend on which calendar provider your organization uses.

Google Calendar

Google Calendar setup requires a Google Workspace super admin to authorize EOS One in Google Admin and complete the calendar connection.

Microsoft Calendar

Microsoft setup requires an administrator with the permissions needed to approve the EOS One calendar connection for the organization.
