Daily and Weekly Planner: Overview and How to Use It

The Daily and Weekly Planner uses Atlas AI to review your priorities, help you decide what needs attention, and build a plan around your work in EOS One and, when connected, your calendar.

What Is the Daily and Weekly Planner?

The Daily and Weekly Planner helps you organize your day or week around the work that matters most.

Atlas reviews information available in EOS One and brings relevant priorities into the conversation, including:

  • Rocks

  • Off-track Measurables

  • Overdue or incomplete to-dos

  • Upcoming EOS One Meetings

If your organization has a connected calendar, Atlas can also use calendar events outside of EOS One as additional context.

The Planner is conversational, so you can add context, change priorities, and continue refining your plan with Atlas.

Start a Daily or Weekly Plan

  1. Select Chat from the left sidebar in EOS One.

  2. Select New Chat.

  3. Choose the option to plan your day or week.

  4. Allow Atlas time to review the information available in EOS One.

  5. Review the priorities and recommendations Atlas provides.

Atlas may take a little longer to respond while it reviews relevant information across EOS One.

How Atlas Prioritizes Your Work

Atlas organizes the plan based on the priorities and work it finds in EOS One.

Rocks

Rocks are given high priority because they represent the most important priorities for the quarter.

Atlas can call attention to Rocks that need progress or may require additional focus.

Off-Track Measurables

Atlas can identify Measurables that are off track and include them in the plan when they may need attention.

Overdue and Upcoming To-Dos

Atlas can identify to-dos that are overdue or due soon.

For overdue to-dos, Atlas may offer options such as:

  • Mark the to-do complete

  • Change the due date

  • Reassign the to-do

  • Turn the to-do into an Issue

You can continue the conversation with Atlas to decide how you want to handle each item.

Add Your Own Priorities

Atlas does not only rely on information already stored in EOS One.

During the planning conversation, Atlas may ask whether there is anything else it should consider before finalizing your plan.

You can tell Atlas about work or commitments that are not currently tracked in EOS One.

For example:

  • An important customer conversation

  • A project that needs additional focus

  • A commitment outside of EOS One

  • A change in your priorities

If you identify an important priority that is not already tracked in EOS One, Atlas may suggest adding it.

Use Your Calendar for Additional Context

When your organization has a supported calendar integration connected, Atlas can use calendar events outside of EOS One as additional planning context.

This helps Atlas consider both your priorities and your existing schedule when helping you plan your day or week.

For example, Atlas can take your calendar availability into account when identifying where focused work may fit into your schedule.

Calendar integration is not required to use the Planner. Without a connected calendar, Atlas can still build a plan using information from EOS One and ask you for additional context.

For setup instructions, see:

Get Time-Blocking Suggestions

When Atlas has access to your connected calendar, it can suggest time blocks for your priorities based on your calendar availability.

These suggestions help you build a plan around the time you actually have available.

Continue the conversation with Atlas if you want to adjust the proposed priorities or timing.

Refine Your Plan with Atlas

Your initial plan is a starting point.

You can continue the conversation to:

  • Change the order of priorities

  • Focus on a specific Rock

  • Review an overdue to-do

  • Add a priority that is not in EOS One

  • Factor in other commitments

  • Ask Atlas what needs attention first

You do not need to use a specific command. Respond to Atlas in your own words and continue refining the plan until it reflects what is most important to you.
