Sidebar Navigation: Overview and How to Use It in EOS One

Use the sidebar in EOS One to move between tools, open Chat, and manage how much navigation space is shown on your screen.

What the sidebar is

The EOS One sidebar is made up of two parts:

  • Left rail: A persistent narrow rail for quick access to Home and Chat

  • Navigation drawer: The larger sidebar area that displays the main EOS One tools, such as Dashboard, Meetings, V/TO, A/C, Insights, Assessments, Processes, and Teams

You can collapse or expand the navigation drawer depending on how much screen space you want to use.

How to use the sidebar

  1. Look to the left side of EOS One.

  2. Use the left rail to quickly open Home or Chat.

  3. Use the navigation drawer to open a tool, such as Meetings or V/TO.

  4. Click the collapse arrow at the bottom of the sidebar to collapse the navigation drawer.

  5. Click the arrow again to expand it.

When the navigation drawer is collapsed, the left rail remains visible so you can still access Home and Chat.

How Chat works in the sidebar

Chat opens from the Chat icon in the left rail.

When Chat is open, the drawer can show:

  • Chat history: A list of previous chats

  • Search chats: A search bar to find previous conversations

  • New Chat: A button to start a new conversation

  • Active conversation: The selected chat thread

When you open a conversation, the drawer content changes from chat history to the active chat.
