The Measurable History feature lets you view how a Measurable’s goal has changed over time and understand performance in the context of the goal at that specific point.
What is Measurable History
Measurable History allows you to expand a Measurable and see the goal that was active for each week. This provides important context when reviewing past performance, especially if goals have been adjusted over time.
This ensures your Scorecard reflects what was considered “On Track” at the time, not just against the current goal.
How to Access Measurable History
Go to your Scorecard.
Locate the Measurable you want to review.
Click the arrow (caret) icon to the left of the Measurable name.
The Measurable will expand to display the goal history row beneath the weekly data.
Review the goal shown under each week to understand historical expectations.
How Measurable History Works
The expanded row displays the goal assigned for each specific week.
Goals are tracked historically and tied to the time they were active.
This allows you to accurately interpret whether a Measurable was On Track based on the goal at that time.
Important Behavior
Updating a goal does not change past data.
Any weeks that already have values entered will retain their original goal context.
New goals only apply to future weeks.
This approach preserves historical accuracy. For example, a Measurable may show as “On Track” for a past week even if it would not meet today’s goal, because it met the goal that was active at that time.
When to Use Measurable History
Use Measurable History when you want to:
Understand performance trends over time
Audit goal changes
Explain why a Measurable was marked “On Track” or “Off Track”
Provide clarity during Scorecard reviews
FAQ
Why does a past week show “On Track” even though it doesn’t meet the current goal?
Because the system evaluates that week against the goal that was active at the time, not the current goal.
If I update a goal, will it change previous weeks?
No. Goal updates only apply to future weeks. Historical data remains unchanged.
Where do I see the goal for each week?
Click the arrow (caret) next to a Measurable to expand and view the goal history row beneath the data.
Can I schedule or automatically change goals (for example, monthly)?
No. Goals cannot be set to change automatically. Additionally, goal history is tied to when values are entered. If you enter a value before updating the goal, it will be evaluated against the previous goal. For example, if you enter a value of 6 when the goal is “greater than 5,” then later change the goal to “greater than 6,” that past entry may still appear “On Track” because it was recorded under the earlier goal.
