Create a copy of an existing V/TO when you want to preserve the current version and create a new version for future planning.
Why copy a V/TO?
As your organization evolves, your V/TO should evolve with it. It is best practice to create a copy of your V/TO at the start of each quarter.
Copying a V/TO gives your team a fresh version to update Quarterly Rocks, review the 1-Year Plan, and add new Issues while preserving historical context from the previous version.
How to make a copy of a V/TO
Click V/TO from the left navigation bar.
Find the V/TO you want to copy.
Click the vertical ellipsis next to the V/TO name.
Select Make a Copy.
The copied V/TO is created as a new Draft and is automatically named Copy of [V/TO name]. You can open and edit it as needed.
What gets copied?
When you make a copy of a V/TO, EOS One duplicates the existing V/TO into a new Draft version.
The copied V/TO can be edited without changing the original V/TO.
