Use the V/TO Builder in EOS One to create a new V/TO, continue an unfinished V/TO, or edit an existing V/TO.
What is a V/TO?
V/TO is short for Vision/Traction Organizer®. It is a strategic planning document that helps your organization answer key questions, clarify your vision, and get everyone on the same page.
In EOS One, you can build your V/TO from scratch or clone an existing V/TO as a starting point.
How to create your first V/TO
If your organization does not have a V/TO yet, EOS One will prompt you to start one.
Click V/TO from the left navigation bar.
Click Start Building Your V/TO.
Follow the prompts to build your V/TO.
Complete each section of the V/TO.
When the V/TO is created, you can review it from the V/TO page.
How to create another V/TO
If your organization already has a V/TO, you can create another one from the V/TO Builder.
Click V/TO from the left navigation bar.
Click Open V/TO Builder.
Click + New Draft.
Enter a name for the new Draft.
Choose how you want to start:
Clone the Official: Copies the live V/TO as a starting point, then lets you edit freely.
Start blank: Creates a new V/TO from scratch.
If you choose to Clone the Official, select the V/TO you want to clone from the Clone from dropdown.
Click Create Draft.
The new V/TO is created as a Draft.
How to edit a V/TO
Click V/TO from the left navigation bar.
Click Open V/TO Builder.
Find the V/TO you want to edit.
Click the vertical ellipsis next to the V/TO name.
Select Edit.
Make your updates.
How to continue an unfinished V/TO
If a V/TO has not been fully created yet, selecting Open resumes the V/TO Builder.
Use this when you started building a V/TO but did not finish all sections.

What happens if my organization does not have a V/TO yet?
EOS One will prompt you to start building one. Click Start Building Your V/TO from the V/TO page.
How do I create a new Draft if my organization already has a V/TO?
Go to V/TO, click Open V/TO Builder, then select + New Draft.
What is the difference between Clone the Official and Start blank?
Clone the Official copies an existing Official V/TO so you can use it as a starting point. Start blank creates a new V/TO from scratch.
How do I edit an existing V/TO?
Open the V/TO Builder, click the vertical ellipsis next to the V/TO, and select Edit.
What happens if I click Open on an unfinished V/TO?
If the V/TO Builder process is not complete, clicking Open resumes the builder so you can continue where you left off.
