The Dashboard in EOS One offers a view of all of your meetings and meeting items. This article will give an overview of the features and functionality of the Dashboard. You can read the article in its entirety, or select one of the steps in the list below to jump directly to that section.
Move & Resize Widgets
Widgets on your Dashboard can be moved to different positions and resized vertically or horizontally. Instructions on how to do both can be found below.
Move a Widget
Click and hold your mouse on the white space of a widget where the 'move' icon (4 arrows) appears.
Simply move the widget up, down, or to either side to adjust its position. Release your mouse to place the widget in the desired position.
If you would like to switch the order of two widgets, drag and drop one onto the other's position, and they will swap.
Resize a Widget
Hover over a widget and click the diagonal arrows in the bottom-right corner of the widget.
Drag the widget vertically or horizontally to adjust its length or width.
Release your mouse to finalize the resizing of the selected widget.
Add New Items from a Widget
New items can now be added from all of the widgets on your Dashboard. The below example walks through adding a Rock from the Dashboard, but this can be done for any meeting item on your Dashboard.
Click the "plus button" icon on the top-right side of the appropriate widget.
Proceed to add the new item. In this example, that would be clicking "Add Rock."
The new meeting item has been added and will appear in the appropriate widget and meeting!
Filtering & Sorting Within a Widget
Widgets on your Dashboard can be filtered to show only your items, or items of others across meetings you share with them. They can also be sorted by Owner, Due Date, or Meeting. Instructions on how to do both can be found below.
Filter a Widget
Click the filter icon in the appropriate widget.
On the modal that appears, check whichever box(es) you want to display in this widget. You can select "Mine", "Others", or both! Click "Save" and your filter will be applied to that widget.
Sort Within a Widget
Click the up and down arrows of the column you would like to sort the widget on. In this example, we will be sorting on the "Status" column.
The entire widget will now be sorted by that column! If you would like to reverse the order, simply click the sorting icon again.
Switch Dashboard Views
EOS One provides two ways to view your Dashboard depending on how you prefer to see your information.
To switch between views:
Go to the Dashboard.
In the upper-right corner, select one of the view options:
Default View: Displays the standard dashboard layout.
Widget View: Displays a customizable dashboard made up of widgets.
Your selection will immediately update the dashboard layout.
Widget View Controls
When using Widget View, you can customize the dashboard using the controls at the top of the page:
New Widget: Add a new widget to your dashboard.
Reset Widgets: Restore the default widget layout.
These options allow you to personalize the information shown on your dashboard.
