Organizational Checkup: Overview and How to Use It

The Organizational Checkup in EOS One helps teams assess the strength of their organization by rating performance across the Six Key Components™ of the Entrepreneurial Operating System®.

What it is

The Organizational Checkup is a built-in diagnostic tool that provides visibility into how well your team is executing the EOS Process®. It allows users to evaluate their organization based on 20 targeted questions, generate an overall score, and track improvement over time.

How to access/use it

  1. Navigate to the menu on the left-hand side.

  2. Select Org Checkup.

  3. Click + Create New Org Checkup to begin.

  4. Complete the 20-question survey by scoring each item from 1–10.

  5. After completing all questions, click Submit to view your results.

You’ll see a visual breakdown of your scores across:

  • Vision

  • People

  • Data

  • Issues

  • Process

  • Traction

All past checkups are saved, allowing you to compare progress over time.

Key actions

  • Create a new checkup at any time

  • Submit scores anonymously as a team

  • View results instantly with visual graphs

  • Track trends by comparing historical checkups


FAQ / Q&A

Who can fill out an Organizational Checkup?
Anyone with access to the tool in EOS One. It’s recommended that all leadership team members complete it individually. This includes Free Observers (Non-Licensed Users).

Can I view past Organizational Checkups?
Yes. All submitted checkups are saved and timestamped for review and comparison.

What does the score mean?
Each score reflects your team's perceived strength in that area. A higher score indicates greater health and Traction.
