EOS One uses consistent language rooted in the Entrepreneurial Operating System® (EOS) to help teams align, communicate, and execute more effectively. Understanding these terms will help you navigate the platform and apply the EOS Tools confidently.

Core EOS Concepts

  • Entrepreneurial Operating System® (EOS): A simple, practical set of tools to help organizations align on goals, solve problems, and operate efficiently.

  • The EOS Model®: Represents six essential components—Vision, People, Data, Issues, Process, and Traction—that must be strengthened to build a healthy organization.

Six Key Components

  • Vision Component™: Getting everyone 100% aligned on where you’re going and how you’ll get there.

  • People Component™: Ensuring the right people are in the right seats.

  • Data Component™: Running the business on a handful of numbers that show what’s really happening.

  • Issues Component™: Building the discipline to identify and resolve issues at their root.

  • Process Component™: Documenting and following core processes consistently.

  • Traction Component™: Instilling focus, discipline, and accountability across the team.

EOS Foundational Tools

  • V/TO™ (Vision/Traction Organizer™): A two-page tool that clarifies and communicates your vision.

  • Accountability Chart™: Outlines the right structure for your organization and clarifies roles.

  • Rocks: The 3–7 most important priorities for the next 90 days.

  • The Meeting Pulse: A cadence of structured meetings, especially the weekly Level 10 Meeting™, to drive alignment and issue solving.

  • Scorecard: A weekly snapshot of key numbers to help you spot issues early.

Vision/Traction Organizer Components
