FAQ: Why don't I see a "Join" button to join a live meeting?

Updated over 2 months ago

If you don't see a Join button for a live meeting in EOS One, it's likely due to your account's permission level.

You're likely a Free Observer

Users with a Free Observer license do not have access to live meetings or the ability to edit meeting items. This license type includes limited permissions designed for view-only access, which means:

  • You will not see the Join button for live meetings

  • You can view past meeting summaries and meeting items, but cannot participate in real-time sessions

For a full breakdown of what each permission level includes, visit: Permission Levels

How to gain meeting access

To join live meetings, you'll need a license with the appropriate access. We recommend:

  • Contact your EOS One admin to request a license upgrade

  • Select the "Request Upgrade" button at the top left of the screen, and your admin will be notified.

Still need help?

If you're unsure of your current access or need help updating your license, reach out to support or speak with your organization’s EOS One administrator.
