The Accountability Chart helps define your organization's structure by identifying seats, responsibilities, and reporting relationships.
EOS One makes it easy to create your first Accountability Chart using either a standard EOS template or a blank chart.
Create Your First Accountability Chart
Only Owners and Admins can create Accountability Chart drafts.
Click A/C from the left-hand navigation menu.
Click New Draft.
Enter a name for the draft.
Select one of the available options:

Your Accountability Chart draft will open in the Accountability Chart Builder.
Choose a Starting Point
Start with EOS Template
The EOS Template creates a standard EOS Accountability Chart structure that includes:
Visionary
Integrator

Operations
Finance
This option is recommended for most organizations.
Start Blank
The Start Blank option creates an empty Accountability Chart with a single Visionary seat, allowing you to build your organizational structure from scratch.
Build Your Accountability Chart
As you build your chart, you can:
Add seats
Assign people to seats
Designate Seat Owners
Define roles and responsibilities
Create reporting relationships
Delegate sections of the chart to leaders

Depending on the permissions granted, users may receive:
View access
Edit access
Users with Edit access can contribute directly to the Accountability Chart draft.

When your Accountability Chart is complete:
Owners and Admins can always publish. A Member who has been granted Edit access to the draft can also click Make Live to publish it as the official Accountability Chart.

The published Accountability Chart becomes your organization's official Accountability Chart.
